BJF Eternal Maucho
Lightning is a sorrel 2005 APHA solid paint bred mare.  Lightning was purchased as a weanling from Fitzpatrick Paints and Quarter Horses (Reg & Fran Fitzpatrick).  Lightning is out of a Quarter Horse mare by a sorrel overo stallion.  She is the only foal this stallion ever produced as he was gelded to become a riding horse.  This little mare has halter greats on her papers like Painted Eternal and Ratchett but also posseses the working lines of Leo, Mister J Bar, and Poco Bueno with a bit of running bred through the Three Chicks line.  Her full pedigree is at http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bjf+eternal+maucho.   Lightning had 60 days training by Paul Unrau of Boissevain in the spring of 2008.  This mare cuts bulls in the pasture to pass the time, runs like the wind, and can slow down to pleasure.   She has had a rope thrown off her and with the right training would probably make a great rope horse!  She clips, bathes, and has been hauled.  This mare just recently came back to us and has been exposed to our stallion for a 2012 foal.  We are excited to see what this cross produces!!
